Dar al-Hayat (10/02/2012). Gli attivisti siriani descrivono la giornata di ieri come tra le più sanguinose dall’inizio della rivolta. In particolare la città di Homs ha vissuto “uno dei suoi peggiori momenti”, svegliandosi sin dal mattino presto in mezzo al frastuono dei missili che attraversavano le case passando sopra la testa degli abitanti. Le agenzie di stampa hanno riportato notizie di bombardamenti quasi ininterrotti, oltre che di mancanza di generi alimentari e forniture mediche. Secondo le stesse fonti, più di 340 carriarmati e veicoli blindati avrebbero circondato i sobborghi di Damasco nelle zone di Madaya e Zabadani. Nel sesto giorno di assedio e bombardamenti nella città di Homs, dall’opposizione giunge un dato del bilancio delle vittime, che sarebbero più di cento. Le forze rivoluzionarie siriane intanto hanno invitato a scendere in piazza nella giornata di oggi per onorare la resistenza della città di Homs, sotto lo slogan “Homs è ferita e vi sta chiamando”.
