(Agenzie). Alla mezzanotte di oggi, lunedì 14 dicembre, dovrebbe partire un cessate il fuoco nello Yemen, proprio alla vigilia dei colloqui di pace mediati dall’ONU in Svizzera. Lo ha dichiarato un delegato del governo yemenita alla AFP.

Mueen AbdulMalek, un membro della delegazione del governo, ha detto: “ci auguriamo che le milizie si impegnino per il cessate il fuoco questa volta”, riferendosi alle forze dei ribelli sciiti Houthi in Yemen.

Una fonte presidenziale ha confermato che la tregua avrebbe avuto inizio.
